Now we all know what we are getting or giving for Christmas or that next birthday. “Classics – Great Motorcycles and People” is a newly published coffee table book featuring stunning colour images and detailed histories of iconic New Zealand motorcycles, as well as stories of the people who made them famous.
It is a unique approach featuring collaboration between top motorcycle photographer Geoff Osborne and writer Shane Kelly, capturing the rich history and raw mechanical beauty of some of New Zealand’s greatest bikes.
The book features detailed photos, while the stories include the history of the marque, the background of each individual bike and interviews with famous Kiwis past and present who have a close association with each bike.
There aren't many motorcycling books that cover both tarmac and dirt, but this one does reflecting the way most Kiwi enthusiasts taste a bit of life on both sides of the fence.
